Why U of I

When I was looking to study in the U.S., the University of Illinois took an active and immediate interest in my application. Although, I received offers to study from other schools from America and Spain, I decided to come to Illinois because the people here really cared about me and were responsive. After having studied here for one year, I am positive that staying at Illinois for my J.D. is the right decision to make. The staff and faculty at U of I really care for its students.

Work Hard

Professor Michael LeRoy (Dispute Resolution and Government Regulations) works so well with each and every student and listens to every viewpoint. He made every class truly enjoyable. Professor John Colombo is so organized and has such a tremendous ability to teach lawyers. He teaches you how to look for the logic, the main structure, and where to look for the right answers.

Play Hard

Her lifelong passion is Salsa and Merengue dancing. She also dances flamenco and joined Trikhala, a popular tribal fusion belly dancing troupe, performing on center stage at the Boneyard Arts Festival, the all-campus Halloween bash "Electric Voodoo",and "Bellies for Life," a bellydancing fundraiser for breast cancer research. Fluent in Spanish and English. Likes to go dancing with friends at hot downtown Champaign nightclubs Soma and KoFusion.
