Learning the inner workings and process of Corporate Law with Professor Ribstein; Criminal Law with Professor Jacqueline Ross – She’s very focused on making sure students really understand the application of the rules of evidence, and Constitutional Law with Professor John Nowak – He’s brilliant, he really cares about each student and wants to make sure you understand the law.
Enjoy study breaks and social outings with Black Law Students Association friends and fellow students at Bar Louie on Monday nights on campus.
Helped to start a mentor group on campus for freshman African-American students, coordinating a volunteer project in East St. Louis. Involved with Black Law Students Association, Students for Social Change, Student Hurricane Network, and Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity.
Very enthused about the redevelopment and revitalization of the South Shore and would like to practice real estate and corporate law with a large firm in Chicago upon graduation.
