Official State Reports: Some states publish the decisions of their court of last resort,
usually but not always called the supreme court. These reports are usually cited by the
name of the state. Some states publish the decisions of intermediate appellate reports and

Unofficial State Reports: West Publishing Co. publishes the reported decisions of state
courts in a series of seven sets of volumes each of which covers the courts within a specified
group of states, and in two sets which cover New York and California. The following sets along
