Education Law Resources

Introduction
This research guide aims to assist you in finding education law resources. The resources provided deal with such education law topics as public schools, higher education, special education, discrimination, etc. While the materials listed are some of the more helpful resources, be aware that this is not meant to be a comprehensive list.

Reporters and Digests
Cases are published chronologically in Reporters. In order to get subject access to the cases in a Reporter, a Digest must be used. Digests break down cases by arranging them under various topic headings that are in alphabetical order. Education law is one of the few topics that has its own Digest and Reporter set. Education law cases can also be found through more general Digest and Reporter sets.

Law Reviews/Periodicals
Law Review and Periodical articles are also secondary sources (see II above). However, they are generally shorter and deal with a narrower topic than treatises, hornbooks and looseleafs. Subject access to these articles is available through Periodical Indexes.
