Professor Paulo Albuquerque is a former judge. He is currently a law professor at the Catholic University in Lisbon, Portugal. In 2006, he was a visiting professor at the University of Illinois College of Law and at the Jiao Tong University Law School, in Shanghai, China. Professor Albuquerque was recently designated as an expert of the Council of Europe. His evaluation function will be performed within the third evaluation round of the GRECO (Group of States against corruption).
