Let the Communications Department help you create or update your
course pages for the upcoming semester.
Just send an email to webmaster@law.uiuc.edu with files attached
as well as the course/section number (ex: 601A Contracts). Some
examples of files that you may want to post are:
- syllabus
- assignments
- links to other websites
Your course name(s)/section(s) will be added in the filename so students
can easily identify them. Files submitted in a WordPerfect or Word format
will be converted to PDF so that the files can be viewed by all students
regardless of what software (or software version) they may have.
If you have special formatting instructions for how your course information
should be displayed, please indicate that as well. You may also review
other faculty members' course pages or look at archives of previous courses
for inspiration.
Updates are generally completed within the same day of receipt, depending
upon the time of day sent as well as the current task load. It's best to
try to plan in advance of needing the file uploaded and indicate if there
are specific time requirements for when the information absolutely needs
to be posted. You may choose to send the files as you want them posted
or send the entire semester of files at once.
