Computers and Audiovisual Equipment

Room 102 (Adjunct Office) is equipped with a computer terminal and other offices for visiting faculty are also equipped with computers connected to the College network and the Internet. When you turn on the computer, it will ask for your logon and password. You can get that information from our Information Services department (room 203). The computers here are equipped with standard business software (Microsoft Office and WordPerfect) as well as Microsoft Outlook for e-mail and scheduling and Internet Explorer for web browsing. If you need any special software or assistance with your computer, please contact the Help Desk in the Information Services department at help@law.uiuc.edu or 265-5004.

We strongly recommend that you frequently check the e-mail account you provided us. Most notices to students and faculty are distributed via e-mail, and we assume for administrative purposes that all students, faculty and staff will check their e-mail regularly.

Tyler Hunter is the College's PC and Media Specialist and can coordinate the use of audiovisual equipment at the College. Our equipment includes overhead projectors, LCD projectors, televisions, and VCRs. If you would like to use any of this equipment for class, please consult with Tyler or ask your assistant to do so on your behalf. You will find that most classrooms already are equipped with overhead projectors and screens. Note: Equipment is available on a first come, first served basis. Please do not wait until the day of your presentation to make requests. To ensure availability, please make arrangements for AV equipment a few days before you need it.
