Emily L. Cauble joins the College of Law as a Visiting Professor in the fall of 2009 after spending the previous three years as an associate in the tax transactions department at Mayer Brown LLP in Chicago.  Professor Cauble earned her J.D. summa cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School in May, 2006, receiving the Daniel H. Grady Prize for graduating first in her law school class. She also earned a West Publishing Company Award, the Richard Katcher Senior Tax Prize, and was a reading assistant for Civil Procedure and a senior judge for the legal research and writing program. She earned her B.BA. summa cum laude in finance and economics from the University of Notre Dame in 2001, tutoring in calculus and economics. She served as a research assistant for the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve in Washington, D.C. from 2001-2003.
