Visiting Assistant Professor Aylon Schulte graduated magna cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law. She first practiced at Mayer, Brown & Platt in Chicago as an associate in the general litigation department. Subsequently, she worked as an Assistant Regional Counsel at the Office of the General Counsel for the Social Security Administration, where she focused on disability law.  Professor Schulte taught at the College of Law from 2001 to 2007.  During this time, she taught Legal Research & Writing, Legal Analysis & Writing, Introduction to Advocacy, Advanced Legal Writing for LL.M. Students, and Law & Literature.  She returned to the College in 2009 and currently teaches Legal Writing & Analysis and Introduction to Advocacy.
