Identification Card
Each student must obtain an official University of Illinois identification card (“i-card”). This card will allow you access to the College of Law building and classrooms. Additionally, your i-card allows you to borrow library books, use the Activities and Recreation Center (ARC), and receive discounts at Assembly Hall events.
You may obtain your i-card at the Illini Union Bookstore, 809 South Wright Street (corner of Wright and Daniels), (217)244-0135. Visit the web site at www.icard.uillinois.edu for more information. The ID center will be open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You must provide proof of admission to the College of Law (your Notice of Admission or Registration Agreement will suffice) and another form of picture ID (such as driver's license, state ID, or passport). We recommend that you obtain your i-card as soon as you arrive on campus in order to avoid the long lines during the first week of school.
If you lose your i-card you need to get a new one. If you do get a new one please contact Debby Fletcher at fletchr2@law.illinois.edu and notify her so that your new card allows you to access the College of Law Building.
