For travel purposes, the local airport (Champaign-flight code CMI) is close to campus and hotel rooms have been block-booked at the Chancellor Hotel in Champaign (1501 South Neil Street, Champaign, IL 61820 Phone: 217-352-7891 or 1-800-257-6667) at the nightly rate (single and double) of $59/ night for February 3-5. The cut-off date to book rooms is January 1, 2005. Guest rooms not reserved by this date will be released and sold on a "first come, first served" basis. When making a reservation, please state that you will be attending the "Asian American Law conference" (booking # 1226) to ensure the special rate.
The Chancellor Hotel provides courtesy shuttle service to and from the airport, and you only need to call the hotel upon arrival at the airport for shuttle service.
Metered parking near the College of Law Building is available on both Pennsylvania Avenue and Peabody Drive. Additional meters are available in Lot E-15, off of Pennsylvania Avenue.
