The campus continues as a center of innovation and discovery today. More
than 60 graduate programs rank in the nation's Top 30, including fine arts,
chemistry, microbiology, library science, psychology, music, computer science,

faculty at the College of Law are intimately involved in facilitating transfer
of the University's newest technological discoveries to the marketplace. This
includes innovative achievements in supercomputing, agricultural biotechnology,

host of new technologies. The College of Law boasts a strong IP law curriculum,
taught by nationally renowned professors and experienced practitioners. New
classes are continually being developed in response to the dynamic nature of
the IP field, however, current courses include Advanced Trial Advocacy:
Intellectual Property, Copyright Law, Intellectual Property, International
Copyright Principles, International IP Transfers, Internet and Web Law, Law
and Regulation of Cyberspace, Legal Issues in Entrepreneurship, Patent Law,
Trademark, Unfair Competition and Consumer Protection, Patent Prosecution
and Practice, and Patent Litigation. Students at the University of Illinois
not only learn from internationally recognized legal scholars and practitioners,
they put that knowledge to the test with Journal of Law, Technology, and Policy,
an outstanding summer program, and intense moot court experiences.
