Law 796: Comparative Law

Introduction to the Comparative Law. The Common Law: General Overview, England and Wales. The Civil Law: General Overview, France, Germany. Mixed Jurisdictions. Selected Areas for Comparative Analysis: Constitutional Law, Contracts, Criminal Law. Comparative Law and Economics.  The evaluation will be based on a research paper or on a takehome exam.
